Hairstylist comes to WoW
From the 3.0.2 patch notes:
Quote:
The Barber Shop has been implemented and you can now visit one of the Barber Shops in the major cities to change your appearance. Be sure to get your Shave and a Haircut!
|
Didn't some portion of the GW crowd want a hairstylist? I'm pretty sure the official response was that "the technology doesn't exist to allow such a change". Well, [email protected]!

Not bad. Only took them until their second expansion to implement it.

WoW is coded differently and has more than a handful of people working on it. I don't know why you guys insist on beating a dead horse.

Don't get me wrong, I could care less about a hairstylist. I just wanted to be the one to bring it to the attention of those who will undoubtedly bitch and complain about this. I love QQ threads, they're funny as hell.

Sure, I'd like a hair stylist, along with a ton of other NPCs that would add more of an RPG/Morrowwind feel to the game - but that's best reserved for Sardelac's I imagine.
They could at least add more hair and facial options to the character creation menu and allow you to go back and change your character's look at a whim.

So, since they have one now, we should get one, right?

So WoW has several million subscribers each paying ($15/month?) a monthly fee. To put it very conservatively, at least 8 figures of revenue come pouring in every month from WoW, so I'm not gonna complain if it has a feature that GW does not.

I think they should let us transfer our GW chars to WoW to get a haircut and back, how about that?

Anet can't add a hairstylist because they've been busy working on GW2... since proph came out. That would explain factions and NF though.

Im surprised this isnt a feture you need to pay for.
Charracter transfer = 20 euros to transfer a megabyte of data across two servers,
Charracter rename = 7 euros to change a few bytes of data...
